Ophthalmology Caledonia has been set up to deliver a series of educational ophthalmology courses.These are available to all, but are particularly accessible to participants living in Scotland or the north of England, since their location is in the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology, Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow.
The courses aim to tackle many of the areas in the higher specialist training curriculum, along with other areas of interest to both trainees and consultants.
The courses have a very practical theme and if appropriate, include a wet lab along with specialist surgical teaching. Alternatively, if relevant, there will be patient based teaching to demonstrate pathology.
